All home improvement contractors are required to have state and local licenses. However, many paving companies work without the required licenses. To ensure your contractor is licensed, call the County of Fairfax at 703-324-1540, the state of Virginia at 804-367-8500 or visit the website for Virginia's Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. Always remember that just because someone advertises in the yellow pages doesn't mean they are a legitimate contractor.

It is also important to make sure that your contractor is insured to protect you and your property from any accident that might occur. While H&H Paving is proud to offer our customers the protection they deserve, many contractors choose not to offer it. Did you know that if your contractor does not have Workman's Compensation Insurance that you would be responsible if someone were to be injured on your property?
